UCLA California NanoSystems Institute

The University of California Center for Environmental Implications of Nanotechnology (UC CEIN) is pleased to announce a one-day conference on recent advances in environmental health and safety of Engineered Nanomaterials (ENMs).

  • Target audience: Participants from industry, regulators, policy makers, nano EH&S professionals, and academics from the state of California, nationally, and internationally

  • Focus: Developing alternative testing strategies for ENMs and how ENMs can be used for decision making in industrial, regulatory, policy, and academic settings

  • Discussion: How the advancement of environmental nanotechnology research impacts daily operations and decision making processes

  • Half-day workshops: Participants may choose to participate in one of the following workshops: High-throughput techniques/approaches; Nanoinformatics data tools; or, Safe handling of nanomaterials

The conference is free to attend, but registration is required.
